Prague’s city blocks are the glue that hold the city together. The seizes define the urbanism of each area and therefore the shape and the aspect of the city. The Prague image, well-known across the world, is one of soft colours and scattering heights of pitched roofs. Our proposal tackles directly the issue of the city block, trying to find a compromise between the functionality and beauty of the historical city block and a contemporary reinterpretation of its strengths. The project RESIDENCE Vysočany is an extraordinary opportunity to create a scheme that will be impressively distinct from neighbouring projects and at the same time rediscover the tradition of the city block. An attractive and comfortable place to live near the city centre.
